Wasting Time

Wasting Time — cover art

Time doesn't slip away in hours — it drains through misalignment. We think we're losing time because the days feel too short, but the real loss happens when we spend them on the wrong things.

You can fill a week with “productive” activity and end up exactly where you started. Or you can spend a focused day on what truly matters and move further than most do in a month. The difference is focus — not force.

A single thread drawn taut and in focus from a soft tangle

Protecting your time starts with protecting your attention. That means getting clear on what moves the needle, what sustains your energy, and what only looks important. It means learning to let go of the meetings, metrics, and noise that eat your day without feeding your results.

Boundaries aren't about shutting people out — they're about keeping your priorities in. They're the quiet decisions that turn I'll get to it into It's done. They're how you stop being available to every distraction and start being available to the work that actually matters.

If you feel constantly busy but rarely fulfilled, you don't have a time problem — you have a clarity problem. And once you solve for clarity, you'll find that you have more time than you thought… and far less to waste.

If you feel busy but not fulfilled, that's a clarity problem — and clarity is where we start.
